SERVPRO of Northwest Albuquerque has been operating since October of 2017. Niko and Katrina Southall started with a simple dream of owning their own company to making it into reality. Niko has always had the passion for restoration and has been doing restoration for almost 20 years. He always was so knowledgeable about how to clean up disasters. Niko became very ill in 2011 and was unable to physically be out in the field full time. So, he decided to go back to school to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Business Entrepreneurship from the University of New Mexico and graduated in May of 2017. They were now able to open their own restoration company.

Why did they choose SERVPRO? In one of Niko’s courses, he had a project of looking for the best restoration company in the world. He researched and resulted in SERVPRO as the best company to purchase a franchise from. Niko and Katrina then fully focused on their dream becoming their reality.

Niko, Katrina, and the rest of their team combined are highly certified in IICRC water, fire, mold, and upholstery. This makes them educated and highly experienced in what they do best, restoration!

Niko and Katrina are so thankful for their team and how well they work with the community in emergency situations. “We love our neighbors and are thankful for every one of them. Niko and I are both born and raised in Albuquerque. We think Albuquerque is so beautiful and even though we don’t see a lot of natural disasters, or should I say they are uncommon, we just want all of our Albuquerqueans to always know that we are here to help anytime day or night.”
